Rachel and Dave

Our rings are being made for us by a talented jeweler named Sharie. She is making wax molds of each ring which will then be cast in gold. The rings will have a similar design, but Rachel’s will have more diamonds in it (mine will have a few, but I want to avoid bling).

The design on the rings is of a mountain range which goes around the entire ring with trees along the base and a sun in the sky on one side and a moon on the other side along with small diamonds for stars.

We’re both prety excited about these rings because they will be one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. Thanks to my mom we have quite a bit of left over gold that we are using so we won’t need to purchase any gold at all. Considering the fact that gold is running above $700 and ounce lately, this is a great advantage which allows us to invest more in the craftsmanship of the rings.
